Every year, the school I work for has a "What I Need" (WIN) day to allow teachers and students to share interests, and I have the opportunity to run a table for students who may or may not have experience with Dungeons and Dragons. After three years of running parts of various starter set adventures, I figured "Let's try something different," and ordered "Faster, Purple Worm! Everybody Dies Vol. 1." "Everyone Dies as a Surprise" was a great opportunity for a table of theater kids who had minimal experience with TTRPGs to have some fun with minimal expectations, and ran well in the hour-and-a-half allotted. The PC's JUST opened the door to meet the princess (no spoilers!) when we ran out of time. So, by DM fiat, they all died anyway. Looking froward to running some more of these as pick-ups.
