28 ENCOUNTER CARDS

Designed to hang on your DM Screen, these encounter cards have all the varied art from the adventures that you can show to your players and stat blocks on the back for your easy reference.

3 PLAYER MAPS

These 8.5x11" maps should be given to the players to help immerse them in the world and plan their next move.

  • The Forbidden Vale Overland Map (The Forbidden Vale)
  • Village of Respite (Before the Storm)
  • Godsbreath (Copper for a Song)

4 IN-WORLD HANDOUTS

When the characters receive a letter (Death at Sunset), map (The Will of Orcus), recipe (The Forbidden Vale), or song lyrics (Copper for a Song), hand them a beautifully rendered version and let them keep for reference.

ARTIFACT

This heavy metal Orcus holy symbol is meant to be displayed during Will of Orcus. That said, this kind of wearable artifact cries out to be used in future adventures!

Pendant is 2" long.

DM AID

We offer up different ways to connect all 10 adventures into a single connected campaign that can take a party from Level 1 to 12. Also included are ideas for character construction using the Players Handbook that will maximize player engagement.

Well put together package, but maps weren't proofed for spoilers

All the maps are high quality prints, appears to be sturdy water proof material, the extra accessories are nice.

What makes it difficult to recommend for others is that this current printing only removed the letters from the players map and didn't go further. I realize this was also something in the printed books (DND Beyond has since updated it), but for the cost of a premium product, I would have hoped they revised the originals. It appears Wizards is designing their maps now almost entirely for VTTs and assume fog of war is in place. For the adventure / map of "Baker's Doesn't" cottage, I had to cover the dungeon area entirely with post it notes, otherwise it would have revealed the location of a key NPC in the adventure.

I'd hope maybe in future products they provided room interiors as separate cards (similar to the monster cards), to make setting up and running the game much easier, one of the original appeals of these products.

OMG we went back and forth on this for soooo long! That's the conundrum with battle maps of large areas/dungeons. You have to either say, 'I don't care if my players see the whole layout, I'm just going to throw it down on the table and let them go' or you have to cover all the parts of the map that the players haven't seen yet and reveal as they go. We argued both sides and ultimately decided to give the whole map. We may try something different on our next one! Thanks for the kind words on the quality and durability, and thanks for using our boxes!
