Rediscover six beloved adventures from the early days of D&D, updated in this collection that will take players from 1st to 13th level. Whether you have fond memories of playing these back in the day, or are curious to experience first-hand how the world’s greatest roleplaying game got its start, these six adventures will take you and your players on an epic journey through exotic lands with unforgettable characters.
Each cover design uses one of the unique doors from the Infinite Staircase, and when opened, reveals one of the iconic denizens of that adventure. Choose from: The Lost City, The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, or Expedition to the Barrier Peaks
Art for the classic monsters and NPCs from all six adventures with updated stats on the back.
These Epic Monsters deserve an epic treatment for when the players meet them, so we've create 5 oversized encounter cards to fully deliver both the epic art and the epic stat block.
Also, did we mention they're epic?
Three encounters designed to fit seamlessly into Quests from the Infinite Staircase.
The Island of Death (4th level). This encounter, set in the Underground City described at the end of The Lost City, delivers a prophecy to the characters that encourages them to return to the ziggurat at a much higher level to defeat Zargon the Returner; a satisfying conclusion to Quest’s series of adventures!
Betrayal in the Desert (7th level). The Desert of Desolation is a harsh and deadly environment. Bring it to life with a scheming yuan-ti abomination and a deadly shrine to the serpent god.
Trouble With Giants (9th level). We’ve expanded on some of the Yatil Mountain encounters described in The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. Gnomes, trolls, an enraged fire giant - let’s see your characters talk their way out of this one.
The spaceship discovered in the Barrier Peaks contains a multitude of strange alien artifacts. Players can use these 20 dry-erase cards both to learn their powers and to keep track of their energy cell usage.
