Give them to your players, or wear them yourself!
-
Feather Token: You’d be foolish to walk the bridges of Sharn without one of these. Hand this to your players when they receive their first.
-
Dragonshards: Hand to your players upon claiming one. They also have a small hole in one end in case you or your players want to string a necklace strap through.
Handouts:
Items that you can really hand your characters. Why just explain the contract your players made with the Dark Lanterns, when you can hand it to them?
-
Broadsheets: Use these sample Eberron periodicals to forewarn the Bonus Encounters or to add flavor to your campaign
-
Patron Letters: We’ve included four sample introductory patron letters so your players can know exactly what they’ve gotten themselves into
-
Note from the Sergeant in the Forgotten Relics adventure
-
The planes: this primer is pulled from the book so your players can read about the cosmology of the world for themselves
Bonus Encounters:
These encounters have been designed to feel distinctly Eberron-esque and can take advantage of some of the battle maps included in this Gold box. Each comes with exclusive art that incorporates depictions of the pre-generated characters.
-
Murder on the Halcyon – There’s a bit of dirty business upon the luxurious airship The Halcyon. Can your players solve the mystery before it’s too late? (1st level)
-
Skybridge Skirmish – Someone is haunting the nightmares of a young scholar, leading to mayhem on the bridges of Sharn. (2nd level)
-
Race Through Q’barra – Welcome to the jungle. Riches await… if you can fight your way out. (3rd level)
-
Fallen Colossus – Adventurers must plunge into the dreaded Mournland to retrieve a docent network. (4th level)
Khorvaire is an immense and unique place and we’ve taken the incredible map from the book and blown it up to poster size and added annotations from a Korranberg chronicler.
In addition, we’re very proud to have worked with Lee Moyer and Keith Baker to include a map of the City of Sharn that has the level of detail that an oversized map can provide.
And More!
- Encounter Cards
- Custom DM Screen
- Pre-Generated Characters
- Magic Item Cards
- Dragonmark Temporary Tattoos!
NOTE: Eberron: Rising from the Last War is a campaign setting book and does NOT include an adventure (which is why we wrote our Bonus Encounters for this Gold Edition).

High quality as always. The maps come folded and printed an several nice types of material. I love the adventures, and the handouts, can't wait to put them in my game.
Great content packing was crushing and torn when I got it. Which is sad since it’s a beautiful box.
Box was overall pretty good, I love Eberron, art is fantastic, maps are good, and handouts are nice etc.
Being said, much is left to be desired from the steep 250 price tag. I feel like more could have been communicated that this is not exactly an adventure, as some of the points of marketing implied to me (8 different mapped-out sections to one 'adventure' actually being 8 sample maps for a setting instead of set pieces in a written adventure). Furthermore, through not being one adventure, I struggle greatly introducing these set pieces into my Eberron campaign due to it already being set far away from the physical location and plot (take this part lightly, I am fairly new to DMing so my skills aren't honed yet, hence why I was trying to get my bearing through running a pre-written). Honestly, I am fairly disappointed, and wish I had saved my money by just getting the standard book for like 1/8 of the price.
LD,
We're sorry your Gold Edition of Eberron didn't meet your expectations. First, know that you can always return a product for a full refund if you're not satisfied with your purchase.
All of the battle maps in the Eberron box are associated with the Bonus Encounters that we wrote specifically let a DM jump into adventuring in these iconic locations.
That said, some of our premium editions like Eberron, Van Richten's, Tal'Dorei, and Fizban's, are campaign settings and NOT stand-alone adventures, and as such may be better suited for DMs who are already running a campaign. For new DMs we recommend starting with a stand-alone complete adventure, such as Curse of Strahd, Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, or Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
We'll update our product descriptions to more clearly explain the difference between adventures and campaign settings on our website.
Thanks for your feedback!
