Few nations inspire more fear than Thay. A treacherous land in the Forgotten Realms, Thay is notorious for its tyrannical, red-robed wizards who wield unlimited political power and command armies of undying terrors.

Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall presents a campaign in which the characters undertake a series of dangerous, clandestine missions to undermine and defeat the archlich Szass Tam. If the operation is discovered, Szass Tam will kill the characters and everyone they love.

Deadfall combines the heart-pumping excitement of an action-based spy thriller with the high-fantasy, magic-steeped gameplay that defines Dungeons & Dragons. Player characters will reach level 20 by the adventure’s end—and they will need to use all their power and resources if they hope to defeat Szass Tam.

“Spy Games” - Level 10-11. Written as a prelude to Deadfall, this adventure establishes the party as key players in the Thayan spy scene and provides extra motivation to defeat Szass Tam. A true undercover intel-gathering quest.
“Extraction” - Level 12. Slide this adventure into chapter 3: Operation Deadfall to provide the party an opportunity to rescue an Open Eyes rebel from an evil zulkir by infiltrating a hidden Red Wizard facility.

Does this Platinum Edition include the Arcana Unleashed Map Pack available from D&D Beyond?

No. Our Battle Maps are adventure-specific and don’t cross over with the Battle Maps offered as part of D&D’s product. Those are a different set of generic maps. Also, our Battle Maps are NOT available as part of the Arcana Unleashed Map Pack and are ONLY available as part of this Platinum Edition.

When will this Platinum Edition ship?
